Native American & Indigenous Studies Reading Group

The NAIS Reading Group is an intellectual community exploring topics and issues in Native American & Indigenous Studies. Participants vote on the text, allowing the group to determine the focus for the group. Sonoma State students enrolled in Native American Studies 495 in Spring 2020 and Fall 2020 are contributing to an annotated bibliography focused on analyzing reporting on COVID-19 and Native Americans. Please see the resource below for articles and annotations exploring another pandemic in Indian Country. The NAIS Reading Group is facilitated by Dr. Erica Tom, Director of Native American Studies, Sonoma State University (tome@sonoma.edu).
